Roll Playing Experience (Why I think I'm qualified to make RPG material):

  • I started role playing in the fifth grade (1980) with Dungeons and Dragons.

  • I soon moved onto other games like Champions, Boot Hill, Star Frontiers, Universe, Sword Barer.

  • Somewhere around 1982 I made my first game. It was called The Outer Limits. Okay, so the name was not very creative, I was only 12. I also made a super hero game called Warriors of Adventure. This game actually turned out quite well and we played it for some time.

  • Later on I started playing games like Paranoia, Toon, Middle Earth, Villain and Vigilantes, Conan and Marrow Project.

  • I made several more games: Weird War (another stolen title but actually a good game for a 14 year old), Atlantis (no one ever played this one), some martial art game that I never finished and the best game to date Quest World. This was a simple but fun game.

  • While in High School I began playing an awe some but little know game called Fringe Worthy. I also played Car Wars, Battle Tech, Mech Warrior, Bushido, TMNT, Robotech, Storm Bringer, War Hammer (figures), Battle Droids and Mekton.

  • All through High School I worked on my revised edition of The Outer Limits but I had come up with another stolen title "Star Fleet".

  • After graduation I never went onto college but I keep on rolling the dice. Star Wars, Cyber Punk, Marvel and DC super heroes games, War Hammer 40K (figures), Time Lords, Millenniums End, All the White Wolf Stuff, Marvel SAGA, 7th Sea, CORPS and of course FUZION.

And I'm sure I left out a few.

Why am I doing this: I love making games. I like making games more then I like playing them. This site is to get people used to my style of game making and to give you a preview of what's to come. I am planning to take STUDiO187 to the professional level by next year. The nice folks at HERO have given me permission to set up this site and this gives me an opportunity to get my start.

What the hell is 187? If you don't know, you just don't know.
